Tinny has reacted to DJ Black’s famous top 50 emcees list which shook social media last week. In an interview on Joy FM this morning, Tinny said he has really done well with his Ga rap for the genre hence he should have been included in the top 10.
He said:
“I haven’t checked the list yet but to rate myself number 21 is a no. I will rate myself among the top 10.
Just look at all the songs that i’ve released, i took Ga and look at what i’ve done with the Ga language.
“That position that i was placed is a no-no. I don’t deserve that position at all.”
Joy FM’s DJ Black released a list of Top 50 rappers in Ghana last week on the social media which was received with mixed reactions from Ghanaians.
Reggie Rockstone, who was pegged at number 4 on the list, said DJ Black is a veteran in the game so he’s on point with his view although he admitted it’s his opinion which informed the names that made up the list. Read more here…
