Popular Nigerian Afrobeat singer, Burna Boy born Damini Ogulu has spoken on why his songs and personality are very big in the United States of America.

According to him, he grew his popularity in the States by following the necessary procedure before attaining his spot in the American demography.

Speaking in a recent interview with CNN, the self-acclaimed African Giant noted that he had to perform from small events to the biggest show in the United States before gaining the popularity he’s currently having.

He however explained that he paid his dues and also accumulated popularity without chasing any shortcuts and that’s the prime means he used to become Burna Boy out there.

The singer emphasized that he’s glad that all the hard work and efforts are paying off and getting him the acceptance and recognition he deserves.
