Charles Nii Armah Jnr, known professionally as Shatta Wale has revealed in a new interview with Joy Prime that he’s no longer interested in beefing his former nemesis, Stonebwoy.
The famous African Dancehall star emphasized that his long time feud with Stonebwoy was not fraught with malice or hatred towards him, contrary to what a section of the public think.
He said: “What many people don’t know is, i don’t hate Stonebwoy at all, no. It’s the industry we found ourselves in that caused all this beef between us.”
The ‘Already’ hit maker noted that he probably has blood relation with Stonebwoy as their mothers come from the same village.
“Stonebwoy’s mum and my mother come from the same village in the Volta Region, and i’m saying this again, i’m no longer interested in this family beef, it’s all over,” he added.
Shatta Wale surprised everyone during the just ended MTN 4Syte Music Awards when he gifted his Most Popular Music Video award to Stonebwoy, his former rival who has now become his buddy.
His gesture impressed a lot of Ghanaians as they genuinely believed it symbolizes the end of their age long beef and ushering a new dawn as they embrace they new found friendship.
