‘ I Don’t Have That Kind Of Money’- Wutah Kobby Cries in UK Over Bills For Quarantine When He Comes To Ghana

Ghanaian musician Wutah Kobby has expressed his sadness over the government’s 14 days quarantine for Ghanaians who are currently stuck outside the country since the closure of borders to curb the Covid-19 pandemic in the country.

Report says the Nana Akufo led government has negotiated prices with the plush Kempinski Hotel and African Regent Hotel to quarantine such people on their arrival for 14 days. However, Wutah Kobby who is in the UK right this minute- says the new movie is favourable for him.

Speaking in an interview with Andy Dosty on Hitz FM, the singer expressed shock that his country’s government will ask him to pay huge amounts of money before he returns to his homeland. He continued that he has really suffered in the United Kingdom throughout this pandemic.

He said that even in the UK, he has stayed above his means. “It is not conducive for everybody to pay that amount of money that government is asking us to pay”.

“The show that I came to play in the United Kingdom was canceled so I didn’t perform. I was supposed to be paid after the gig and all the gigs were canceled,” Wutah Kobby fumed.
