A Kenya lady by name Elsa Mpho Majimbo has reduced her dowry from 5 million dollars to 4 million dollars after realizing that potential suitors could not pay the first amount.

A dowry or bride price is an amount of money including some items given to a girl’s family as a formal way of expressing interest in the lady in question.

Each country has it’s own rules and regulations when it comes to marriage. While some countries and tribes can easily get married to their spouse without an intervention from their families, it is the complete opposite in other countries.

Well, according to Elsa in an Instagram post, which was shared by Vibes Update, she wants her suitors to be able to marry her, hence the reason for the reduction in her dowry.
