Ogidi Brown

I am a firm believer that underground artistes or better still up and coming artistes in Ghana will now see real suffering considering the ungrateful attitude of their predecessors.

This is because there have been several cases where up and coming artistes who received support from well-to-do men at the beginning of their career later paid their helpers with ungratefulness or whatsoever as in the case of the of Fameye.

In the voice of Ogidi Brown who used to be the manager of Fameye, he spent over 1.2 billion old Ghana cedis in the music career of Fameye. According to the CEO of OGB Music, he invested that much in the ‘Nothing I get’ hitmaker because he believed the artiste was humble and had talent.

Ogidi Brown said, “Fameye deceived me after I loved and signed him then he betrayed me. I spent over 1.2 billion old cedis in just a year to invest in his career. I fed him, clothed him and got an apartment for him.”

Speaking to MzGee in an interview, Ogidi Brown posited that despite the public perception that he’s rich, he isn’t. He added that his undying love for music is the reason for his massive investment in his artistes.
