Member of Parliament (MP) for Assin Central, Hon. Kennedy Agyapong has reacted to the defeat of the 40 incumbent MPs who were floored in the recently held NPP primaries over the weekend.
According to the controversial lawmaker, the MPs lost because they have refused to establish rapport with the foot soldiers. In an interview with Atinka TV, the ‘revered’ MP said these MPs refused to have a relationship with the ordinary supporters of the party and failed to help them in their difficult situations.
All the foot soldiers across the country like me because I pick their calls anytime they call. They will tell you that when you call I will shout but if you’ve patience I will help you.”
“Sometimes when they make the demands and I don’t have money, I talk to them for them to understand. So as an MP if you want to be loved you need to be open and build a good relationship with the grass root.”
