It’s an undeniable fact that E.L who happens to be the 2016 VGMAs artiste of the year is conspicuously missing in action ever since he won the award. His music career is fast diminishing to the utmost surprise by Ghanaian entertainment enthusiasts not excluding himself.

But somewhere November 2017, the musician under discussion made Ghanaians especially his fans privy that he’s no more in working terms with the record label (BBnZ Live) that helped him to be crowned as 2016 VGMAs Artist of The Year.

Although he couldn’t give valid reasons to back his decision then until this day. According to E.L in the studios of Kasapa FM, quitting BBnZ Live made him lose interest in doing music. The reason why Ghanaians had not heard from him in a while.

E.L revealed that his motivation for doing music at a point in time was lost and leaving BBnZ was a major factor in his sudden disappearance from the music scene.

“That was also part of it. It got to a time I wasn’t getting the inspiration to do music at all,” E.L told Kwame B.

He also indicated that apart from the struggle of having to quit BBnZ Live, he also had other issues that he had to channel all of his attention to without having to be distracted by any other thing.

“There was a lot going on in my life that I had to focus on. It took time. So I was slow during that period,” EL added

E.L stated that despite the fact that he almost gave up on music during those trying times, his passion and dedication to music revived him and inspired him to continue when he almost made up his mind to stop.

“But thanks be to God, I’m a music lover. So at the end of the day it’s going to be the love of music that’s going to bring me back.”
