Born Emmanuel Botchwey affectionately called Kwaw Kese sometime ago disclosed to Sokoo Hemaa of Rainbow Radio that Philip Akpor Kenya aka Lord Kenya, who gained much prominence in the hiplife industry some years ago, wants him to follow his footsteps to the Lord’s vineyard.
He added in the interview that despite admonition by Lord Kenya that he should consider doing the work of God as minister of the gospel, he is not ready for such task.
Well, evangelist Lord Kenya has finally let the cat out of the bag on what actually happened when he confronted Kwaw Kese with the Good News. According to Lord Kenya, his encounter with Kwaw Kese when he was convicted in Kumasi prison in 2014 after narcotic offence was centered on his salvation not his calling or whatsoever.
“I visited him at Kumasi prisons after he was convicted and bought him a Bible and an everyday guide. Then I advised him that something might come out of where he is and with God all things are possible.
“When he came out we had a couple of conversations, he told me he was going to church and all that. So is it wrong for me to visit him or is it wrong for me to say to him that give your life to Christ?” he quizzed.
