‘I Once Doubted The Existence Of God’– Obrafour

Legendary Ghanaian rapper, Obrafour, born Michael Elliot Kwabena Okyere Darko has revealed in a new interview that the painful death of his mother made him doubt the existence God.

According to him, his mother was his main backbone in his career though he had no plans of becoming a rapper.

“I LOST FAITH IN GOD BECAUSE I NEVER THOUGHT I COULD LOSE MY MOTHER WHO HAS BEEN MY BACKBONE IN A WAY SHE DIED. THIS MADE ME LOST FAITH IN GOD,” HE EXPLAINED.

Obrafour, often considered Ghana’s greatest rapper of all time, revealed on Adom FM that the death of his mother rendered him homeless and hopeless because his world revolved around her.

He added:

AFTER MY MOTHER’S DEATH I LEFT HOME TO LEARN RAP FOR SURVIVAL ON THE STREETS.

Meanwhile there will be a mega concert this month to celebrate Obrafour’s maiden album Pae Mu Ka which made its debut in 1999.

The album is considered the best Hiplife album of all time.
