Ghanaian singer, eShun has justified her intention to publicly beg Sarkodie for a feature.
It could be recalled that in August this year, the ‘Akyea’ hitmaker took to Twitter to express interest to collaborate with Sarkodie on a song.
“Dear @sarkodie For years I’ve tried to get you on a song, Tried friends, strangers, media guys… Spoken to Angel, Black Nana, Possigee, tried yr house… Bra Michael, you are Dope, having you on a song will be fire to fire, it will be an honour. What do I do to make this happen?” she tweeted.
Her public request was however taken on a bad note by some industry players who thought the ‘Someone Loves Me’ crooner should have sent a direct message or see Sarkodie in person.
eShun justifying that her public appeal was nothing wrong in an interview with Zionflix stated that Sarkodie was not in any way offended following her tweet which sparked debate on social media.
According to her, it’s a normal thing to communicate with a fellow musician on collaboration through social media and that there’s nothing wrong with what she did.
To buttress her point, she cited how a tweet by Mr Eazi made it possible to get King Promise on a song adding that it was the same medium she used to get Stonebwoy to feature on a song.
