Multiple award-winning Ghanaian rapper, Sarkodie has expressed his desire for more accolades in his music career whilst stressing that his Artist of the Decade award shows how far he has come in the game and his contribution to the music industry in general.
“I still feel young and hungry for more and when I was nominated I realised how long I have been in the game and also with those great people also in the nomination list. When I was announced I realise how far my works has gone’’ he told Rev Erskine host of the ‘Myd Morning’ show on YFM.
During the same interview, Sarkodie mentioned Ghanaian actor and comedian Agya Koo as his favorite Ghanaian comedian. Sarkodie used the opportunity to appeal to the organizers of forthcoming Music Magic Comedy happening at the International Conference Centre (AICC) which is scheduled to take place on June 29 to allow him to perform first so that he can sit and enjoy the other performances.
’ I like magic and comedy but I don’t get the opportunity to enjoy such performances because I usually end the show. This time around let me be the first to perform so I can enjoy the show especially the magic’’ he appealed.
