Following the opening of the LGBT resource centre in Accra, Ghana, there have been numerous controversies which have arisen. However, celebrities such as Wanlov, Sister Derby and Bridget Otoo have stood in solidarity with the community.
Yet another public figure to jump on the bandwagon in support of gays in Ghana and their rights is Rootikal Swagger, singer of “Me Nko Me Da”.
He took to his Facebook page to say, “I support LGBT, you are not God to Judge.”
Ghana, is among many countries in Africa, with strong laws against same-sex marriage.
