I want to venture into NGO – Yaw TOG

Yaw Tog, a Ghanaian rapper who specializes in drill music and was born Thorsten Owusu Gyimah, has talked about why he wants to start a Non-governmental organization (NGO).

The “Sophia” singer said on the Kastle Entertainment Show that his foundation has given more than 6,000 books to some elementary schools.

“TOGLife Foundation we help people, especially the kids like the young ones like me and I have been able to share 6,000 books with them,” he told Amansan Krakye in a one-on-one interview.

The young iconic artist said that he will use the money from his recent show at the Kumasi rotary park to pay for the distribution of another 20,000 books.

He continued “I shared the books among kids in both public and private schools and we are trying to raise money to supply about 20,000 books so that’s the limit we want to reach.

“So we are still on it and after my October show, I will use the money to go and support activities of my foundation for the people on the streets and everywhere,” he said.
