Legendary reggae-dancehall act Samini has revealed how he had the intention of signing Kelvyn Boy before Stonebwoy did.
This revelation came about when Samini was giving his remarks about working with Kelvyn Boy on his recent album, Black Star.
In his remarks, he made mention of how Kelvyn Boy used to back him on several stages and his ability to perform a number of songs and make it his own.
He said these are the things that made him look out for him, and his manager had told him they should sign Kelvyn before his protege Stonebwoy came for him.
He went ahead to appreciate the talent of the young upcoming singer and said he would have asked him to put him on the album if Kelvyn didn’t put him on
