Cynthia Morgan has discussed her ‘prophecy path’ and the cause of her departure from the public eye.

The Dancehall act whose career seemed to have plummeted, claimed that because her Jehovah’s Witness family believed that only Jesus is the last prophet before God’s Kingdom is finally instituted on earth, she was born a prophet and decided to keep her ability to herself.

She claimed that when she started her singing career at the age of 16, she believed her gift of prophecy to be an accident. However, by the time she was 25, she recognized the skill wasn’t going away.

In her words:

“The answer is I was born a prophet but was born into a Jehovah’s Witness home ad their belief is that Jesus was the last prophet so they don’t believe there will be a prophet till the 2nd coming of Jesus Christ. This was also my belief at the tune, So I kept my gift to myself, only my immediate family knew about it.

At 16, I went into music thinking my gift of prophecy was a fluke thinking it will stop at 25 I realized it wasn’t going anywhere.

I struggled with God, begging him I had to win a Grammy before I accept my calling proper. So far, I have realized I am wasting my time. This is one of the major reasons I withdrew from the public eye”.
