Wendy Shay made an appearance in the studios of United Television (UTV) on the famed programme United Showbiz where she broke down the lyrics of her controversial song, ‘Heat.’
The hit song had a line that suggested that Serwaa Amihere, who was allegedly involved romantically with NPP’s John Boadu, should demonstrate to other women how to get the favour from ‘powerful men and influential men in order to drive Range Rovers like Nana Aba Anamoah.
Surprisingly, the Rufftown signee provided a different analogy to the theme of the song when during the interview conducted on United Showbiz. The video below explains her posture;
Similarly, Wendy Shay has revealed why she has developed tough skin for criticism and has surged forward with her career despite what naysayers do retard her progress in the music industry.
The Rufftown Records signee appeared on the Showbiz 360 programme simultaneously with actor Lil Win during which she spoke about how she has been able to weather the storm to get to this point in her career.
“I have come to realize that anyone who wants to make progress will suffer these things as part of the journey. It is a stepping stone because I feel like when you rise above your trials, people respect you. When people come to understand that you are still standing strong after everything, you become influential. You give people something to look up to,” Wendy Shay said.
