Joe Mettle has boldly stated that he’ll never jump on any ambassadorial deal with a betting company in his capacity as a minister of the gospel.

The former Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMAs) Artiste of the Year winner said despite needing money to advance his career, there’s a limit to how far he’ll go to get funds to support himself.

While in the studios of Hitz FM, host Andy Dosty asked him if he will ever accept a deal from a betting company.

“It’s a straight no for me. You need to know where to draw the lines. You need to know where you really stand and what to work on, and what will not work for you.

As I said, I’m first a minister of God before I am a musician. I happen to be a minister of God who is gifted with the ability to sing. And so my first assignment is my service to God, and so he expects certain things from me,” he said.
