Shatta Wale accepted Sarkodie’s challenge for a boxing bout at the Bukom Boxing Arena less than 24 hours later, with the proviso of a $2 million winning prize.

During a recent trip to the Arena to see some boxing matches staged by Max Boxing Promotions, Sarkodie had invited the dancehall musician to a fight and featured the invitation in a new video.

The ‘Non-Living Thing’ rapper stated his enthusiasm to be present and pledged to return to see more fights in the future when asked to comment on what he had seen so far.

However, it was his challenge to Shatta Wale that caught the attention of many.

The “Dancehall King” whose attention was brought to the request by his rival from a fan on Twitter said he was more than ready to enter the ring and show him who was the superior fighter.

“The way ago beat am erh !!! He go tink say me I born am 🤣,” he responded

However, Shatta Wale has made one major condition for this boxing match: the winning prize must be a staggering $2 million.

“I Am down but make them put $ 2 million as winning price… If they make ready with the money make them call me !!,” he added.

Fans and critics alike have been quite interested in and divided over Shatta Wale’s challenge, with some praising him and others questioning whether he is sincere about it.

A famous person has already fought in the ring of boxing. There have been numerous instances of well-publicized boxing contests involving celebrities in recent years, including the well-known contest between the YouTubers Logan Paul and KSI.
