With the recent increase in tariffs, living in Ghana has become extremely difficult especially for those living on meagre salary.

In a recent post on Twitter, TV personality Berla Mundi who seems to share the same sentiments with the majority of Ghanaians has asked how people earning little amounts are able to survive in this hard economy.

Just this morning MTN Ghana has revealed the increase in charges for all recharge cards and the amount that will be deducted on each amount. It can be recalled that the prizes of fuel was recently increased and Ghanaians have been lamenting since then.

Berla Mundi wrote on her Twitter page;
” Chale Ghana has become tough!!! How are people earning very little amounts managing in the economy?”

With the number of bills one has to pay, it is normal for Berla Mundi to wonder how people are surviving. Some people earn as low as 300 cedis a month and by the time they finish paying their bills, it will be left with nothing.

Meanwhile Berla Mundi recently left EIB network owned by Bola Ray to join TV3 after not been paid for seven good months.
She is not the first person to leave as her colleague Giovanni Caleb also left few months ago to join TV3 as well.

Bola Ray however came to explain that things were extremely hard for him and as a result he could not pay his staff for 7 months.
