‘If I Were Stonebwoy Or Shatta Wale, I Would Not Return VGMA Plaques To Chaterhouse’-Edem

Rapper Edem has advised Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale not to return the plaques they won at Vodafone Ghana Music Awards which the VGMA board has instructed them to return as part of their punishment for their misconduct.

Edem was of the opinion that the plaques belong to the artists since it’s their own fans who used their hard earned money to vote for them. He also added that in as much he does not condone their actions on the night which attracted the punishment, he does not see the logic behind what Charterhouse did with respect to the ban and all that.

“Charterhouse only came with harsh conditions to punish Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale. Because if you are telling me to bring the awards won back (which were voted for/invested in by my fans), what are you also giving me back in return for the damages or incidents that happened on the night.”

“I am not saying what happened on the night was right; it’s not right, but if i were to be Stonebwoy or Wale, i won’t return any plaque to Charterhouse,” he told GHOne TV.
