Ghanaian musician and one of the few artistes who made the Azonto music and dance genre a success, Gasmilla has sent some shots at Sarkodie for trying to act big.
Sarkodie has started off a campaign to breathe life into Azonto, the Ghanaian music and dance genre that put Ghana on the international map a decade ago.
He has asked his fellow artistes to send him songs with element of Azonto so they could kick off the campaign.
But Gasmilla, who is a good dancer of Azonto feels Sarkodie should have given him a call as courtesy demands owing to his contributions to the genre.
He said in an interview with Sammy Flex: “I think we should all basically know our worth at this point. If Sarkodie feels too big in his shoes to know who Gasmilla’s contribution to Azonto is, I can’t also just wake up and send him a record.”
He added:” I respect him enough to call his name Sark, she should also respect me enough to know I go fit link Gasmilla up,”
