“I’ll never be the same person” – SA rapper AKA says, 4 months after death of fiancée Nelli Tembe

The pain the death of Nelli Tembe brought to AKA still remains fresh in the mind and heart of the South African rapper. According to him, he is never going to get over it.

Nelli Tembe was AKA fiancée and they were preparing for marriage before the lady died tragically by reportedly jumping out from the tenth floor of a hotel in the early hours of Sunday, April 11.

Before Nelli’s death, the couple got engaged two months before. AKA, whose real name is Kiernan Jerryd Forbes, had taken to Instagram and Twitter to announce their engagement, describing Nelli as the love of his life.

In the latest Instagram post, AKA has said he does not think he will ever be the same. He thanked friends and loved ones for their support during his difficult days.

4 months to this day. 💔 … it never goes away. Everyday I pray for her, myself and our families. I will never be the same person I was … but I will do the best I can with the gift and opportunity of life that I still have left. Thank You to everyone who has stuck by me and our respective families … you know who you are.
