Ghanaian rapper, Desmond Blackmore aka D-Black has modestly stated that although he’s a very good rapper, the likes of Sarkodie, Edem and Obrafour are ahead of him in the rap hierarchy.

The rapper and business mogul has often been trolled for his ‘wack’ lyrics but he claims he’s one of the best the industry has ever seen.

In an interview with Lexis Bill on Joy FM, D Black was asked to drop his list of best rappers in Ghana and whether he’s a good rapper.

He replied:

“I’m a good rapper, but if i’m to do a list of best rappers here in Ghana, Obrafour, Edem, Sarkodie and EL will be ahead of me.”

On why he doesn’t go in hard when he’s rapping, he said,

” I had to drop my rap to the basic level to make it commercially successful. I did songs like Vera and the likes”

D-Black recently dropped a new song with Nigerian singer, Simi.
