Ghanaian actress and entrepreneur Beverly Afaglo has advised her friend Yvonne Nelson to shut down the GoFundMe account she created on her behalf. The account was set up to raise funds for Beverly after she lost her house and all her belongings to a fire incident.
Beverly Afaglo took to her Instagram page to give details of events leading to the GoFundMe account and the amount of money she made so far.

In the video, she revealed that the account was not her idea, and even her husband opposed it. She also disclosed that the money she has received cannot rent her a house.
“The GoFundMe ended at $1,839. $1,000 equivalent is about Ghc6,000. And $800 and something, so we can be talking about Ghc10,000 or Ghc11,000 something. I am grateful. Thank you very much. I don’t know how to put it this can’t even rent a house.” She stated in the video.

Meanwhile some Ghanaians have called her out for being ungrateful and unappreciative especially since things are hard in Ghana and most people are struggling to survive.
