Bullet, CEO of Rufftown Records, has revealed that he will soon move his record label to Nigeria over some laws that prevent celebrities from endorsing alcoholic beverages and betting companies in Ghana.
Bullet’s decision is as a result of some laws that prevent celebrities from endorsing alcoholic beverages and betting companies in Ghana.
Taking to Instagram, Bullet described these laws as stringent/heart-wrenching laws which are gradually crippling record labels in Ghana and added a prediction that there will be no record label in Ghana in a year or two due to these laws.
He further revealed that he will be moving his record label (Rufftown Records) to Nigeria perhaps to do away with these entrenched laws in Ghana.

Ghana is not a place to operate a record label business and this is very sad. Record labels do not make money from just shows where their artistes are billed to perform, majority of the money comes from endorsement deals. You people are always goofing with your laws. Do you guys have any idea of the devastasting effects of covid-19 on the creative arts. #theydontcareaboutthecreativearts
