‘I’m No Longer Underground Artiste – Kwame Yogot

Ghanaian rapper Kwame Yogot has asked Ghanaians to stop referring to him as an underground rapper.

Speaking to Kumi Kasa and DJ JahSolo on ABEN FM’s Entertainment Friday show, Kwame Yogot claimed that he has been climbing the same stage with mainstream artistes in Ghana, so to him, that alone is a plus for him

In his submission, he said;

“We’re all mainstream artistes. Me, I see myself as a mainstream act because a lot of people Know me now, and my ‘Biibi Besi’ song is one of the popular songs in the country now so what makes me an underground artiste?”, Kwame Yogot quizzes.
