I’m solidly behind Asantehene – Twene Jonas makes shocking u-turn after several curses were rained on him following his utterances against Ashantehene (+VIDEO)

US-based Ghanaian critic, Twene Jonas has made a shocking u-turn after curses were rained on him following his utterances against the Asantehene.

The popular critic in a previous video threw tantrums at the Asantehene and other chiefs in Ghana who under their watch has gotten many rivers polluted because of galamsey.

Twene Jonas called the Ashanti King a failure who had taken a bribe from the Government to stop him from speaking against illegal mining activities that is ruining our water bodies.

Following his critic and insults, some chiefs have rained curses on Twene Jonas with one of Asantehene’s chiefs asking Jonas to fly down to kneel in front of the King to render an apology for spewing garbage against their chief.

In a new video sighted by GhBase.com, Twene Jonas is heard throwing his weight behind Asantehene for exposing the illegal miners in his speech at the Regional Consultative Dialogue on Small Scale Mining at KNUST some weeks ago.

Asantehene Otumfour Osei Tutu II spoke about his reservation with the illegal small scale mining (galamsey) and its devastation on the environment.

Speaking at the Regional Consultative Dialogue on Small Scale Mining at KNUST, Kumasi, the Asantehene said the government had sent an entourage to brief him on the things he needs to say in his speech.

According to him, the Regional Minister and Abu Jinapor begged him to be very considerate in his speech in order not for him to say anything that will be tough for the government to take as far as galamsey is concerned.

Jonas reacting to the curses rained on him has stated that he supports what Asantehene did but he will not shy away from taking him on if he’s found guilty of involving in galamsey.
