The autopsy results for Irene Cara have been made public. According to the external examination report acquired by ET, the actress died of arteriosclerotic and hypertensive cardiovascular illness.
The research cites diabetes mellitus as a risk factor for death from any cause, including arteriosclerotic disease (the accumulation of chemicals in and on the artery walls) and hypertensive cardiovascular disease (heart issues caused by high blood pressure). The autopsy found that Cara died of natural causes.

Cara, who was 63, passed away in November. Cara’s representative at the time, Judith A. Moose, issued a statement at the time confirming the news.
