DJ Switch has made a new comment in reaction to the brouhaha which has trailed her surprising ‘DJ of the Year’ award win she grabbed at the just ended 2019 Ghana DJ Awards.
Erica Armah Bra-Bulu Tandoh, widely known as DJ Switch was adjudged the overall best DJ at the recently held Ghana DJs Awards held at the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC).
The 12-year old girl beat DJ Mic-Smith, DJ Vyrusky, DJ Sly, DJ Aroma and DJ Black to grab the coveted award.
Her award has received much criticisms from several Ghanaians who claim she did not win it on merit.
When Andy Dosty of Hitz FM quizzed DJ Black on the subject, he said he has nothing to say which obviously meant he was upset.
However, in an interview with Zion Felix, DJ Switch said DJ Black has always been her mentor and hopes he’s proud of her.
DJ Black is being my mentor since my Talented Kidz Days Till Now; I’m Sure He’s Proud That I won Ghana Best DJ Awards Ahead of Him. Every father wants her daughter to also be more successful and so DJ Black is proud of me.
We can’t tell if she wants to tease but it’s obvious there’s sincerity in what she said.
