Fancy Gadam is ecstatic that the flagbearers of both the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) are from the country’s north.
In a recent interview with Property FM in Cape Coast, Fancy Gadam mentioned that it was an ‘out of the world’ feeling to have Ghana’s next president possibly come from the Northern part of the country again after Dr Hilla Limann and John Dramani Mahama.
The Tamale-based artist said unequivocally that people from the country’s northern region are fully ready to support any candidate from that region running for president, regardless of party affiliation.
“It feels good to have the next president coming from the North, but it is almighty Allah that does whatever he wants,” he said.
Recognizing the significance of divine will in the development of events, Fancy Gadam continued, “No man can question God, so the only thing we can do is wish everybody well, whether they are NPP or NDC candidates.”
“As far as President Mahama and Dr. Bawumia are both coming from the North, we are going to support both of them,” he told reporters.
