Korede Bello, the Mavin Records signee and best known for the popular “Godwin” song, has said that it is expensive to be famous as it comes with a lot that includes people seeking favors from you almost every time.
According to him, one should only seek fame when they are wealthy, he however intimated that the fame wouldn’t particularly appeal to you by the time you get excess wealth.
He is of the view that it is rich people who desire more attention and not people who are wealthy.
He opined that your fame should make you more money and not make you spend money.
“It’s expensive to be famous. I think you should only seek fame after you’ve become wealthy. But by then the fame no go hungry you again,” he wrote.
“Wealthy people don’t like the attention, rich people do,” he added.
“Fame should make you more money not make you waste money. There should be more people teaching how to convert influence to affluence,” he concluded.
24-year-old Korede Bello rose to fame when he got signed on to Don Jazzy’s Mavin Records and his song, “Godwin” became a Chart-topping tune.
