Boss of Hitz FM, Mark Okraku-Mantey has begged Ghanaians to stop putting undue pressure on Ghanaian musicians to always produce hit songs.
According to the popular entertainment critic, being consistent with hit songs is never easy at all hence fans should stop raising their expectations so high.
Mark added that it’s because of this habit which forces some artists to produce songs in a hurry which fades sooner than expected. He made his sentiment known on Peace FM.
“I think here in Ghana we put so much pressure on our musicians. See, it’s not easy to make hit songs back-to-back like that. I think it’s high time we stop putting too much pressure on our artistes for hit songs.”
“It’s how we keep on putting pressure on our artistes, and that is why they also keep on rushing to release songs all in the name of satisfying the taste of music lovers.”
