Hiplife artist based in Kumasi, Cabum has showered praises on Shatta Wale on his recent joint project with Grammy award winning artist, Beyonce.
According to the rapper, it’s only a witch who wouldn’t be pleased with such a good news in someone’s life, noting that this is something they have been praying for the Ayoo hitmaker so he’s extremely happy his brand has soared following the rare collaboration.
“I’m very happy about the Beyonce Shatta Wale collaboration. I’m very happy for Shatta Wale. This is what we have been looking for, something that will make someone improve in life.
So we have to be happy for a brother but if you try to be jealous then you are a witch. The truth is one, you don’t have to fly before you can be a witch. So to me, I’m very happy for Shatta Wale that Beyonce has featured him,” he said.
Beyonce featured Shatta Wale and other African stars including Nigeria’s Wizkid, Tiwa Savage and Burna Boy, Ghana’s Dancehall act, Shatta Wale and a host of others on her The Lion King: The Gift album.
The album, which also features some well known artistes like Kendrick Lamar, Childish Gambino and her husband Jay-Z and was released on Friday (July 19), seamlessly blends afrobeats, rap, R&B and pop in what the superstar calls her “love letter to Africa.”
