I’ve Always Been Beautiful, Poverty Made Me Look Ugly – Delay

Award winning media personality Deloris Frimpong Manso, popularly known as Delay has shared a throwback photo of herself when she was still trying to come into the limelight.

In a video shared on her Instagram page, the successful entrepreneur recounted how she used to beg people for food and how she used to be mocked because she couldn’t express herself in the English language.

“I was called names, they said I can’t speak English, I am not beautiful enough. It wasn’t that I wasn’t beautiful, it is poverty that was taking photographs of me. Times were so hard that they were days that what to eat was hard for us”. She stated in the video.

Delay further disclosed that her business is booming and she is a proud owner of a house.

“just last year, the house that I said I rented, I bought it and my canned foods are selling both in Ghana and abroad.” She added.
