Finance Minister-designate, Ken Ofori-Atta has said he doesn’t take salaries and per diems from doing his job as Finance Minister.
According to him he only came to serve the country and has no intention to use his office for personal gains.

“I suspect you know that the issue of public service is one that really has been with the family [Ofori-Atta family] for a long time and I came into it with that aspect. I do not take a salary, I do not take a per diem, so those are not the objectives that I come with,” he said.
As a reminder, Kenneth Ofori-Atta, is a Ghanaian economist, investment banker, and politician as well as the co-founder of Databank Group, a Ghanaian investment firm. He currently serves as the Minister for Finance and Economic Planning in the cabinet of Nana Akufo-Addo.
