Rapper Kwaw Kese has lamented the fact that despite his legendary status he’s not given enough recognition. The veteran rapper said he’s somewhat not surprised because Ghanaians naturally don’t celebrate their own.
He made his sentiment known during an interview with Becky of Joy Prime. He said, “I don’t feel celebrated. It’s the norm in Ghana. Ghanaians don’t celebrate Ghanaians doing well, they don’t celebrate their stars, and they don’t celebrate their celebrities.”
He however said he’ll celebrate himself whilst he’s doing active music and not be discouraged at all. The ‘Abodam’ hitmaker recently passed his opinion about the recent peacemaking between Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy, saying it’s good for the industry commercially.
“It’s good for business. I think no one would fake the reunion once they have come together as friends they should live as friends”, he said during the interview.
“I wish them well”, he added. Additionally, Kwaw Kese said although he personally has problems with Shatta Wale, he’s happy he made the move with Stonebwoy to make that historic moment come off.
