J.K Rowling is a famous British author born on July 31, 1965 in Yate, England to a Rolls Royce Aircraft engineer Peter James Rowling and a science technician Anne Volant Rowling. She grew up alongside her younger sister Dianne.

One thousand copies of the first edition of the book were printed and five hundred was distributed to libraries. She earn an £8000 grant from the Scottish Arts Council and also gain income from the sells of theroghts of publishing the book from US to Scholastic Inc.

In 1998, the sequel of the book was out titled Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. The third book of the series titled Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban was out in the year 1999. The books were sold $480 million with more than 35 million copies in print in 35 different languages.

Due to the well recognition of her books, Warner Bros signed a contract with J.K to come out with a film with that same adaptation.

The fourth book of J.K was released on July 8, 2000 titled Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. However, the movie version of Harry Potter and the Philosopher Stone was released and also received much attention with over $90.3 million in its first week.

In 2002, the second series film Harry Potter Andy he Chamber of Secrets was out. Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix was the fifth book released in 2093.

The sixth book titled Harry Potter and Half-Blood Prince was released in 2005. On July 21, 2007, the final series of the book was released and was titled Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.

In 2012, she designed a website Pottermore which consists of many previously undisclosed details on characters, places and objects in the Harry Potter world.

That same year, J. K came out with an adult body titled The Casual Vacancy and The Cuckoo’s Calling in 2013.

She’s currently working enthusiastically on two different types of novels namely Children books and adult books.

J.K moved on after divorcing her first husband and tied the knot for the second time with an anesthetist Neil Michael Murray in the year 2001. The new union was blessed with two children namely David Gordon Rowling Murray and Mackenzie Jean Rowling Murray.
