Harlow was born on March 13, 1998, in Louisville, Kentucky, in the United States of America.

Jack Harlow started rapping and writing rhymes at the age of 12. His involvement with the underground hip-hop scene of the city as a high schooler led to local performances and the online release of tracks that tended to focus more on the pleasant aspects of adolescence.

Handsome Harlow, a debut EP, appeared in 2015, and was followed by 18, a more developed mixtape, in 2016. On the Gazebo mixtape released the following year, which featured the frantic track “Dark Knight,” Harlow shown great growth.

Labels started to take notice of regional attention and tours, especially DJ Drama’s Generation Now imprint, a subsidiary of the Atlantic Records family of labels.

Drake, DaBaby, and Kanye West, three of the top names in rap, all stand at 6 feet or less, yet Harlow towers over them all. Many of the rapper’s followers, who have only seen him in stylized music videos and brief press appearances, are surprised by his height.
