John Dumelo aims fresh attack on Ayawaso West Wuogon MP, Lydia Alhassan for this reason

The Parliamentary Candidate for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for the Ayawaso West Wuogon constituency in the 2020 general elections, John Dumelo has slammed Lydia Alhassan for her ‘politricks.’

The actor and politician is not happy with the Member of Parliament (MP) for the area Madam Lydia for turning a deaf ear to the constant plea from motorists and pedestrians on the GIMPA stretch of the road who are always attacked by armed robbers to do something about their plight.

John Dumelo took to Twitter to slam the MP for being insensitive and asked rhetorically that because the election is over she has nothing to do with the people.

Taking to his verified social media handle on Facebook, he wrote;

“Every day we hear stories of road users being attacked on the Gimpa road….yet the Mp of AWW has been mute and unconcerned. The robberies still persist. Or elections are over……”

See reactions;

Okatakyie Emba Dadzie – Elections are over so every Ghanaian life isn’t important again.
There are busily amassing wealth for themselves, family and unborn generations.
This is what happened when citizens decide to vote 🗳on party colours .

Ndidi Affe – U talk about just one road in Ghana,my brother all d Roads and states in Nigeria is in crisis with different group attacks on a daily basis,robbery is maimai case compared to what we are suffering here, too many I don’t care policians everywhere.

Johnson Antiedu Yeboah – Do you think is right to discuss security issues on public or you want the woman to turn into law enforcement personnel

Monica Henry – It’s long overdue.
I have read few comments with due respect could people not compared Ghana to other neighbouring countries. Ghana has always been democratic country.
Thanks John for bringing the issue up, hopefully something would be done ASAP to protect individuals
Cheers.

Miracle Brave – Sorry Ghanaians, we Nigerians wish to sympathize with you on the deplorable state of Gimpa Road and the robbery situation on the road. However, we wish to inform you that your neighbor, Nigeria has a situation akin to or even worst at Kaduna/Abuja Highway. It’s a kidnappers’ den and is often described as a death trap spot.
As we remember you in our prayers, also remember us in your prayers.

Nana Yaw Amoah – John, its good you bringing this up but I know the security capos are there to protect human lives.
You guys always say MP’s are to make law’s so kindly let the system work wai.
The mps job is not to provide security but make security law’s
Thank you
