A-List actor,philanthropist and business man John Dumelo is one of the the household names in Ghana and one of the most favorite celebrities in this country.Having acted over 90 movies with paragons like Omotola Jalade,Ramsey Noah,Majid Michel,Nadia and a lot more,one can say John is Ghana’s nonpareil actor in this century.
He is a gentleman with an outstanding personality and makes hardwork his hallmark. Having won several awards including Best Actor in A Lead Role at the 2013 Ghana Movie Awards and Africa’s Most Outstanding Actor 2011 at the Afro Australian Movies And Music Awards,John has got quite a good experience in the movie scene.
He is currently in Liberia for a premiere of “The Mysterious Wedding Planner”,written and produced by the sexy Princess Shyngle. As part of the projects he is embarking on as a business man and his passion(movies), John Dumelo in an interview with a Liberian based radio station, United Nations Mission in Liberia (UNMIL) disclosed that he will soon set up a film school in Liberia and organize mentorship programmes for those who wish to do movies(acting,directing,editing) and other related opportunities so they can enroll in.
J Melo as he is popularly called,is also planning to set up a film school in Ghana sometime soon to nuture young and amazing talents.
