Juliet Ibrahim’s Ex-Husband Said She Is His Favourite Actress

Ex-husband of award-winning actress, Juliet Ibrahim, Mr. Kwadwo Sarfo Jnr, has made a number of confessions regarding himself and Juliet few weeks back.

Mr. Kwadwo Sarfo, the son of Ghana’s innovative gem, Apostle Kwadwo Sarfo, and also the founder of the Kristo Asafo church, was the special guest on Adom 106.3 FM’s entertainment programme – Adom Entertainment Hall few weeks back. Handsome Sarfo, who comes across as a man in his middle age due to his commanding stature and personae, disclosed that he is 28 years old only.

His forthright sincerity came as amazement to all in the studio and the listener alike (through text). Mr. Sarfo went on to state that though his father is very popular because of his innovative works – manufacturing of cars, TV, tractors, fork lifters, engines, corn mill machines, etc. he Sarfo is the reserved type.

“I chose not to be in the media because I’m a very private person” he intimated. Though a Pilot and a corporate savvy, Mr. Sarfo has a strong predilection for the showbiz industry. He disclosed that “I love movies! I really love movies! I want to invest in movies, oh yes I want to! I want to shoot a huge budget movie – with a budget running into millions of Ghana Cedis to tell the story of my father – from where he started, till where he is today.

“His story, unknown to many, is a very sad one. Many people don’t know. I want to do that and people will cry watching the movie.” He advised our filmmakers to shoot movies with Ghanaian perspective storylines – so we can identify with and appreciate.

“We have to retell some of our old stories. I want a movie about Okomfo Anokye to be retold. The likes of Okomfo Anokye, Yaa Asantewa, Asaboamanfi, and others. They are our heroes, our legends! We have to shoot movies about them – because our people can identify with them instead of going to the Mall to watch foreign movies.

When host, Kojo Preko Dankwa, asked him who his favourite actors are, Mr. Sarfo said Majid Michel, Nigeria’s Nse Nkpe, Jackie Appiah and Juliet Ibrahim. “I love Juliet Ibrahim’s acting, especially her acting in the movie ‘Foreplay.’ She acted very well” he confessed. Those confessions about his former wife, called for a huge paean from the studio panelists.

Asked to share some of the challenges that comes with marrying a celebrity – because he married one, Juliet Ibrahim, his answer was simple; “it depends on you the one involved.” Finally, he told the public to cross their fingers with bated breath for his father’s coming TV station – Kantanka TV as well as a fleet of new cars manufactured for the Ghanaian and African market.
