Nigerians have set today to observe EndSars Memorial as they reflect on the ugly incident that happened during the protest last year.

The security body Sars was being called to end their operation following several complaints that they’ve been harassing, killing, and extorting monies from innocent people to beat down the activities of internet fraud.

As today is memorial day for the ugly protest which ended in several people losing their lives, at least two persons have since been arrested this morning by the Nigerian Police Force.

Reports coming up suggests that one of the arrested persons claims to be a Journalist but probably didn’t have an ID card to substantiate his claim and the other individual is seen wearing a white outfit with a placard that depicts the intention of starting a protest.

The two have been forced into the police Black Maria van. The police earlier warned against people staging the street in commemoration of the ugly incident.

As they prevent people from staging the memorial protest, lots of police vans and bodied officers have been stationed at Lekki tollgate.
