GHbase.com published a movie poster in which award winning Ghanaian actress, Kafui Danku, is seen on a movie poster – being fingered by actor, Prince David Osei.
Indeed, the site chided the faceless filmmaker for being stupid and malicious.
So Kafui Danku And A Filmmaker Want Us To Believe She Was Fingered?
Later, Kafui Danku got in touch with GHbase.com through her publicist by name Ada, to tell all and sundry that, she has nothing to do with that photo-shopped art work.
GHbase.com also gathers that, taking to her facebook page to address the matter, Kafui stated that, that movie poster was the handiwork of people who are after her.
“It’s really sad how people want you down so badly that they spend all their time devising means of ruining your reputation,” she wrote.
According to her, the poster which is meant to advertise a movie titled ‘Destined’ came across to her as a joke when she first saw it.
“Initially, I laughed about it and thought it was all one big joke and then I woke up this morning with all kinds of messages on my phone…Well, I just want to let my fans who don’t know me personally that, I’ve never shot any movie called ‘Destined’.”
She continued to reveal: “I’ve also not worked with those other artists on the poster. I’m sure someone is just trying to distract me, knowing that we’re seriously working hard at producing another fantastic movie.”
We therefore entreat anyone who might have seen that zany movie poster art work, to give it all the contempt it deserves – and bear in mind that, Kafui Danku is a well cultured and civilized person who respects moral sensibilities and does not employ needless hubbub to promote her image and works. Until then….MOTWUM!!
