H.E. Kamala Harris is rounding up her trip to Ghana and is not ignoring the country’s creative sector. The U.S. Vice President visited some artistic hubs and studios in Accra as part of her three-day formal state visit.
The American Vice President was accompanied by celebrities and other dignitaries as she toured the Vibrate Space, a community recording studio for young creatives at the Freedom Skatepark in Accra. According to photos and videos from the trip, Ghanaian musician Black Sherif was among them.
During Kamala Harris’ tour with Sheryl Lee Ralph, Baaba J, Ria Boss, Moses Sumney, and others, legendary Ghanaian-American actor Idris Elba was also spotted with her.

After the celebs were given a tour of the building, Kamala Harris could be seen mingling with them in some of the photos going viral online.
Prior to that, they engaged in a “meet and greet” with the cast of the well-known TV show YOLO, which stars Jackie Appiah, Adjetey Annang, and many others.
Kamala Harris’ visit to Ghana is part of her weeklong trip to Africa, as part of concerted efforts to deepen America’s relationship with some countries on the continent.
The trip to Africa by the US vice president kicked off on Sunday, March 26, 2023, with her arrival in Ghana.
