The Kantanka Automobile Company has offered to mentor Kelvin Odartei, the Junior High School (JHS) student who manufactured the ‘Ghana Bugatti.’
Ghbase.com broke the news on this young talent who had, through the help of friends, manufactured a car from scratch which was able to move and carry them to and from school.
Many people who came into contact with the news report and the accompanying video expressed bewilderment at the ability and capability of Kelvin Odartei to construct and build a car that looked just like a Bugatti.
In reaction to that, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Kantanka Automobile, Kwadwo Safo Jnr has said his company is ready to take him on board and offer him the mentoring he needs to bring his ideas to fruition.
According to Kwadwo Safo Jnr, who was speaking in an interview with Adom FM, Kelvin Odartei has the potential and they believe guiding and mentoring him will give his talent the leap it deserves.
“The boy needs a lot of mentoring and we at Kantanka are willing to teach him. He is a born handmade crafter.
“I believe there are many of such people out there so I will soon launch a programme to unearth such talents,” he added.
Meanwhile, The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) and the Ministry of Education have all expressed interest in the talent of the 18-year-old boy and have pledged to offer him whatever he needs to build more ‘Ghana Bugattis.’
