The 10-year-old boy, Ishmael Mensah Abdallah, who was allegedly murdered at Kasoa in the Central Region for money rituals is to be buried on Thursday, April 8.
This is according to the spokesperson for the Family, Samed Akalilu as reported by myjoyonline.com.
He said the family was preparing feverishly to take the body from the Police for burial on Wednesday in line with Islamic religion but proved futile.
“Yesterday, when we went to Court, we expected that the body of Ishmael would be given to us but unfortunately, it could not happen.”
He, however, added that the family is positive about receiving the corpse to be buried.
“From the hints, we have received, everything indicates that we will get the body tomorrow (Thursday) so we can proceed to bury our dead according to Islamic customs and rituals.”
On Saturday, April 3, 2021, two teenagers at Kasoa, Felix Nyarko and Nicholas Kini were arrested for allegedly killing a 10-year-old boy, Ishmael Mensah for money rituals.
According to reports by an eyewitness, the two boys lured the boy into an uncompleted building and hit him dead waiting to convey his body to a spiritualist in the Volta Region as directed.
Fast forward, the two suspects appeared in court on April 6 2021 where they were remanded into police custody for two weeks.
