Kasoa Ritual Killing: Traditional priestess who allegedly lured the teenagers into committing the act finally arrested [Details]

A traditional priestess who allegedly lured and got these teenagers motivated to kill a 10-year-old boy for a money ritual at Kasoa has been finally arrested.

Upon frantic investigations by the police, this priestess was traced and arrested at Amanase near Suhum in the Eastern Region.

While police are yet to indicate how the priestess is connected with the murder case, Ghbase.com understands that the case docket has been handed to the headquarters of the Criminal Investigations Department of the Ghana Police Service.

Background:

On Saturday, April 3, 2021, two teenagers at Kasoa, Felix Nyarko and Nicholas Kini were arrested for allegedly killing a 10-year-old boy, Ishmael Mensah for money rituals.

According to reports by an eyewitness, the two boys lured the boy into an uncompleted building and hit him dead waiting to convey his body to a spiritualist in the Volta Region as directed.

Fast forward, the two suspects appeared in court on April 6 2021 where they were remanded into police custody for two weeks.
