After Stonebwoy announced on his various social media platforms that his record label, Burniton Music Group has cut ties with his protege, Kelvynboy, there have been speculations as to what really led to Kelvynboy’s sack.
According to the statement released by Stonebwoy, the company took the decision because Burniton Music Group was auditing its relationship with its officers and associated acts.
The Burniton Music Group explained that Kelvyn Boy’s one (1) year contract with the group expired in January 2019. There was an option to renew the contract. However, due to the conduct of Kelvyn Boy during his tenure with BMG, they have decided to let him go.
Well, it seems it’s far from what was stated in the letter as Ghanaian fashion icon Raphael Mensah who is known in the entertainment fraternity as Rafarazzi has made a revelation detailing what led to the whole brouhaha at the Bhim camp.
He lashed out at Stonebwoy following the news that the latter sacked Kelvyn Boy from his Burniton Music Group adding that BMG is not a serious organisation and that the ‘Mea’ crooner has been unfairly treated.
According to Rafarazzi, Stonebwoy took advantage of Kelvynboy when he knew he would not renew his contract after it expired in January this year.
Rafarazzi in a lengthy post on Facebook suggested that Stonebwoy signed the Afrobeat singer due to his talent for his selfish interest stating that the ‘Mea’hitmaker’s exit from Stonebwoy’s camp is a blessing in disguise because no value was added to Kelvynboy’s brand under the BMG label.
He further revealed that though Kelvynboy was signed to the label, he funded most of his works.
Reacting to Blakk Cedi’s new position, Rafarazzi questioned why Stonebwoy would demote Black cedi to an agent and shifts managerial duties to his wife.

“Burniton Music Group is obviously not a serious organization. Why wasn’t the contract extension option triggered after it expired in January but Kelvynboy kept representing the brand? Stone clearly took an advantage of Kelvyn in this instance knowing his planned intention. This is business not family responsibility. He can’t tell me he signed Kelvynboy without knowing his prowess and not having any interest in the talent.
Why is it that when some Africans offer you assistance/ help push you up they feel you owe your life to them?
The Exit is a blessing in disguise.
To my best knowledge, Kelvynboy has funded almost all his works whiles signed under the label and when he talks about it you tag him as ungrateful.
Now you see a better manager in your wife than Blakk Sidi. Bravo 👏🏾 Interesting times in Burniton Music Group. We surely go take do case study in the future.”
