Kofi Kinaata’s ‘Things Fall Apart’ song us arguably the most listened to song in the past week and also the most lyrically crafted song by any musician in recent times.
The song produced by Two Bars is a masterpiece of typical mid-tempo Ghanaian Highlife gospel classic and already seems a Christmas banger.
The song speaks volume of our everyday lifestyle, how a Christian should live and how politicians fail to deliver on their promises et al.
This has earned him praise from industry players like KKD, Rex Omar, Kidi, Asamoah Gyan and host of others, confirming that indeed Kofi Kinaata is a good songwriter.
In an interview with Sammy Kay Media, the ‘Confession’ hitmaker revealed what motivated him to come out with that song which tends to address social and religious issues.
According to him, he got the motivation from the everyday lifestyle of Ghanaians.
He added that as Ghanaians, we should stop taking certain things for granted; and entreated Ghanaians to not take everything for granted and entreated everyone to avoid hypocrisy.
Kofi Kinaata whose father is a Senior Pastor at the Kwesimintsim branch of the Church of Christ in Takoradi has proven that he is one of Ghana’s best songwriters; listen critically to his ‘The whole show’, ‘Sweetie Pie’ and ‘Adam and Eve’ tracks.
